Maker's statement

We feel that the project fits well into our collection of works since some of them are also slightly playful and colourful. It is a project which combines elements which are often included in our work: Interaction, inspiration of nature and a mixture between technology and craftsmanship.

Since our topic for the commission was play, we wanted to trigger the very natural reaction of people to blow on very light looking elements, to see if they are so sensible and light as they appear. For us play has also a lot to do with discover and curiosity.

It was very nice seeing the people of different age and background interacting with the project in the same way, and all of them became again for a short moment a child and just enjoyed the interaction with the project.
