Black and white photograph by Peter Bonsell showing an installation view of the Craft Advisory Committee's exhibition 'Ten British Potters', 1972. The reverse is stamped with the negative number B 5004 and contact details for the copyright holder, Design Council. British Potters was first shown in two parts: simultaneously at the Design Centre and at the British Crafts Centre in early July 1972. It seems likely that this photograph was taken at the former. The photograph shows a selection of ceramic objects displayed within a long, in-built vitrine. Works by Lucie Rie, Mo Jupp, Hans Coper, Tony Hepburn, Ian Godfrey, Joanna Constantinidis, Colin Pearson, Gwyn Hanssen-Pigott, Bryan Newman and Mary Rogerr.
