Book, cover with marbled orange, brown and blue paper, spine bound in brown leather with title in gold. Pale blue endpapers, rough edged paper with several etchings of fish, some coloured.

Materials and techniques

Hand-printed at the Chevington Press on a Columbian press. Perpetua type set by the artist. All etchings done by the artist using traditional methods plus aquatint and stencilled colour or woodblock colour. Hand-made papers by Barcham Green.

Maker's statement

This book represents early exploration of etching techniques which I have continued to expand on. The idea of the book as a work of art is still one that interests me and lends a source of variety to my own needs in creativity.
