Round soda glass bowl with blue, purple and black trailing and an iridescent finish.
Materials and techniques
Soda colours threaded and double hooked before trailing. Iridescent finish of stannous chloride sprayed onto the surface.

Maker's statement
This group was specially commissioned for the CAC at the Glass Symposium 1976. Most recent simple forms with very delicate double hooking of threaded colour. Influences for me from Japanese craft objects, their starkness and beauty. I want to blow thinner more basic shapes with subtle applied colour.
