Bowl engraved with three naked male figures, with a glass base.
Materials and techniques
The stage is 26mm Pilkington Float, shaped, bevelled and polished in the shape of an exaggerated perspective view of a theatre stage. Mr. T stands in a polished depression in this stage and is carved and engraved with flexible drill mounted diamo.

Maker's statement
Barry Clark polished the stage. Artist's statement 1997: Some years ago I watched a television documentary about the life and work of an Afro-American dancer and choreographer whom I called Mr T. I was struck by the control and grace with which he seemed somehow, to feel his way into his body as he improvised, moving slowly and somehow within himself. One had the feeling that although his actual movements were small, inside he was coiled as a spring, yet simultaneously completely relaxed.
