Experimental piece made of interlaced spun paper yarn demonstrating the ultimate length that this type of yarn can be interlaced while still holding together.

Materials and techniques

Handwoven on an AVL computer-controlled loom using spun paper yarn from Lancashire. There is a number sequence in warp and weft.

I always like to play with new materials, to discover their likes/dislikes in structure. Most of my work has number systems within it. Count the threads in the groups, warpways and weftways.
