Description

Hand-held folk toy consisting of a metal hoop and stalk attached at a right-angle to a wooden tube. A ball and hook sits inside a tube over an air vent and can be suspended by blowing into the wooden tube. The aim of the game is to get the hook over the edge of the hoop.

Part of my making is related to traditional folk toys - the ideas are traditional - I do my own version. The Foxfire group in America is an organisation that encourages folk and ethnic customs.
