Description

Silver and gold lorry-shaped pendant with a chain attached.

Materials and techniques

The main body of the work is in sterling silver and the thin folded part is formed out of chased fine silver. The chain is 9ct gold yellow, while the rods connecting the chain to the pendant are 9ct red gold with 24ct bindings on the end. The two tone serated plaques on either sides of the main body of the piece are 18ct yellow and green gold. The remaining gold parts at the base are 9ct yellow, red and green golds. This mixture of carats is used to create different, subtle colour effects.
