Description

Four narrow central rails joined by rows of three cylindrical rails at the bottom and two cylindrical rails at the top, with a thick steel frame and two feet.

Materials and techniques

Full-size sample of railing made for Oriel House, London, in partnership with Stephen Lock and Paul Jobst. Made of mild steel of varying sections, using straightforward forging, drilling and filing techniques. Micaceous iron oxide finish.
