Materials and techniques

Joint made by crushing a slice of square tube between two round tubes. The square tube is placed diagonally between two rounds and heated. The finished shape is a result of the natural collapse of the metal. (Patent applied for. ) The first major use of this joint was on the Transwell Estate, Waterloo, London.
