Reduced stoneware with tenmoku glaze on top of red earthenware slip. Thrown. Fired to 1280 deg. C. Gas kiln.

This type of bread crock represents the last of a long line of repetition utilitarian ware made first in earthenware (until 1959) then in stoneware (til 77/78).
