Description
The base is a charcoal grey rectangular shape, almost looks like a brick. The base is rather porous and has some small wholes and visible seams as part of its original structure. The right side of the base has a small outward bulge. On the base is a cats head - predominantly blue with yellow eyes and light mauve coloured ears.
Materials and techniques
Low-fired reduced earthenware with underglaze colours; blue, black, yellow, pink and grey. Hand-built, sawdust-fired plinth.
