Description

Abstract square form contstructed from cast pieces of red earthenware.

Materials and techniques

Oxidised red earthenware. Press-moulded from plaster moulds; the form in two parts and the plinth in one. Fired to 1050 deg. C and all outside surfaces ground flat. Inside textured with slip made from the same clay and fired to 1030 deg.C. The three individual elements bonded together with epoxy adhesives.
