Description

Stoneware pot with one flat side and one side with a flattened ripple effect, wiith a red-brown dry ash outer glaze and black slip on the inside.

Materials and techniques

Reduced stoneware with dry ash glaze outside; black slip inside. Cylinder thrown without base; formed as soon as thrown. Base applied when leather-hard. Fired at 1300 deg. C.
