Description

Earthenware bowl with a round base and eliptical rim with a protrusion, predominantly brown glaze with light blue, red, and white spot and line decoration.

Materials and techniques

Oxidised earthenware; red clay inlaid with buff clay and decorated with blue, red, purple and yellow enamels; the buff clay lightly glazed with copper blue transparent glaze. Slab-built. Glaze fired to 1180 deg. C., enamel fired to 800 deg. C.
