Stoneware, with a mottled blue/grey and brown stoneglaze, two handles, and a double rim.
Materials and techniques
Saltglazed stoneware thrown and assembled with rolled rim and handle. Engobe of felspar and china clay, sprayed with black underglaze and cobalt oxide before reduction firing to 1280 deg. C.
