Stoneware, with a green/grey mottled saltglaze, with the handle raised over the lid and a double spout.
Materials and techniques
Saltglazed stoneware, thrown, distorted and cut, with extruded handle; assembled. Engobe of felspar and china clay on outside, with black underglaze and iron oxide pigment sprayed on before reduction firing to 1280 deg. C.
