Maker's statement

This piece is one of a group of larger pieces that I have been making recently. It is one of a small group of works made without a definitive foot, but poised. Still pot like in volume but having reference to the fruit like volumes. The methods of making are similar to earlier works, colours are more subdued and simpler matt surfaces.
