Description
Cup with a small handle and folded rim, with a predominantly turquoise body with lilac and cream decoration, and a purple inner glaze. The saucer has complementary decoration.
Materials and techniques
Work is decorated before forming the clay. Thin layers of coloured clay are placed and rolled onto a basic slab which is then shaped in or over a plaster mould. Each item produced is unique in decoration but uniform in shape. Bisque fired to 1140 deg. C.
