Description
Porcelain vase with a turquoise glaze, with a short bowl and long neck with two 'wings' on either side.
Materials and techniques
Oxidised porcelain with turquoise glaze. Thrown. Wings made by pulling and rotating a piece of wire through a wedge of clay and applied when leather hard. Biscuit fired to 960 deg. C; glaze fired to 1280 deg. C.
