Description

Plain cream fabric background that depicts a farmyard scene with four people, eight chickens, two cows and a dog. There are also numbers and lettering on it, which appear to be accounts. It has a loose fabric lining on the back.

Materials and techniques

Base fabric is cambric cotton, appliqued fabrics are various; screen printed drawing with appliqued fabrics and machine embroidery.

1996: The first wall hanging made on Indian theme using these techniques. Exhibited in "The 62 Group goes west", Royal Cornwell Museum, 1994.
