Maker's statement

Major turning point in my work. Very different wefts used but working on the same theme. Areas of black and yellow should be seen as solid colour but because they are built up from a mixture of colour more fluctuations should be produced by variations in light, than is the case with flat colour. In some light, the cooler yellows predominate, whereas in otherl ights the warmer will emerge.
