Description
Woven silk wall hanging with three large blocks of yellow, green, and pink, with thinner multi-coloured vertical lines running through the green section.
Materials and techniques
Plain weave. The warp is made in separate sections; one section resist-dyed (ikat technique) using acid dyes. Woven on an eight-shaft countermarch loom, (80 ends per inch).
