Description
Crafts Council donation box featuring an automated figure whose facial expression changes from disapproval to approval as he turns a handle revealing a series of changing forms. The cycle begins with a brightlly coloured donkey salt and pepper shaker and progresses through a series of zoomorphic objects to a simple, unadorned vessel.
Materials and techniques
Jelutong, Liquitex paint, limewood, birch plywood, aluminium, Tufnol and mechanical parts.
