Description

Screen printed poster for the Crafts Council Touring exhibition SHOWTIME: Posters and Objects from the Crafts Council Collections, first shown at COLLECT 2017 in the Saatchi Gallery. The halftone image that forms the middle layer is taken from a stock press image of Barack Obama - the poster was designed on the day of the 2016 US Presidential election, 8th November 2016.

Materials and techniques

Designed using Adobe Illustrator and inDesign using Messina Sans and custom typography. Screen printed in three colours (Pantone red 7417u, Pantone Black 6u and Pantone Silver 877u) on Colourplan Pristine White 175gsm.
