Maker's statement
Precious Disposables is a photographic print of my working gloves coated in brass dust, exhibited at Echoes of Process, 2018 at CAA Gallery. The exhibition invited reflection on the overlooked or discarded traces of making. This work has taken on a new meaning in times when vinyl gloves became so valuable, inviting to pay attention to the front-line workers who are often overlooked. Limited edition of 20 prints produced for Artist Support Pledge 2020.
