Poster for 'A Closer Look: Lettering/ Rugs/ Wood', a Crafts Council exhibition held at the Crafts Council Gallery, 12 Waterloo Place, London, from 7 September to 30 October 1983, then toured until 1985. These exhibitions were designed to introduce craftwork of a national standard to places which would not normally see such work. All galleries were encouraged to use the exhibitions to illustrate their own permanent collections. The poster was designed by Philip Miles.
