Description
Poster for 'Objects of Our Time', a Crafts Council exhibition held at the Crafts Council Gallery, 44a Pentonville Road, London, from 5 December to 16 February 1997. The curator, Martina Margetts decided to transcend the discussion on the word 'craft' by asserting the presence of the objects. In her review in Crafts, Pamela Johnson said that this exhibition 'confirms that the territory for crafts continues to expand within, around and beyond function'. This poster, designed by John Rushworth, Pentagram, features H2 Design's (Emma and Jane Hauldren) Double Mouth Flask, 1996. Photography by Kelvin Murray.
