Description
Poster for 'Making Buildings', a Crafts Council touring exhibition in collaboration with the New Art Gallery, Walsall and Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College shown at the New Art Gallery Walsall, from 7 February to 25 March 2001; at Crafts Council Gallery, 44a Pentonville Road, London, from 12 April to 17 June 2001, then toured regionally. Curated by Greg Votolato, the exhibition featured work from John Pawson, Edward Cullinan, Sarah Wigglesworth, Ushida Findlay and Woolf Architects. The exhibits 'focused attention on the building fabric rather than on that wider field of decoration' as reviewed by Alan Powers in Crafts. The poster was designed by Angus Hyland, Pentagram.
