Maker's statement

I believe that this binding takes its natural place in the development of my work of a linear nature over the last few years. The forms probably exhibit a bird-like quality, not perhaps inappropriate to the book. I have bound a number of Stanbrook Abbey press books and know both the printer, and the author/illustrator of "Mother's Birds" which does not make the task any easier!
