Round bowl with frosted glass and linear patterns in red, blue, yellow, grey, brown, and pink, with a wave-cut rim
Materials and techniques
Blown glass, 10% lead. Prearranged powdered coloured glass in the form of a circular 'painting', picked up off the marver and half-cased over a large clear bubble. Detail cane-worked with a torch and the whole blown into a sphere. Cold-worked by sandblasting, grinding and polishing.
