Description
Glass bowl with a clear base and a blue band around the widest part of the bowl, with incised white decoration.
Materials and techniques
Powdered glass is contained in a box through which air passes, causing the powder to stick to hot glass dipped into the container. This process is repeated several times to achieve the required density of colour. The glass is then blown to make the bowl, annealed and finally incised.
