Maker's statement
The glass we use is known as half got approx. 15% lead. We work only in clear glass, the main difference between our glass and the normal factory technique is normal factory produced glass is made by a team of as many as eight men, each of whom make a part of the whole. All the glass at the Bennettsbridge workshop is made and finished by only one person with a helper. It is a much slower and less mechanical process; each piece has as a result its own distinct individual character.
