Clear glass with a narrow bowl and a hammered abstract form on the stem.
Materials and techniques
A large mass of glass is hammered until the desired form of stem is achieved, it is then incorporated into the design of the vessel.
Each formed stem is placed into a kiln at 480C. Once the bowl has been blown the stem is attached and then in turn a foot is attached and the vessel is completed in the usual way.
