Materials and techniques

Made by medival armour-making technique in which vegetable tanned leather is moulded and irreversibly hardened using moisture and heat. The leather is removed from the mould after controlled drying and is trimmed and lined with PU resin before final heat stamping the project name, the maker's name, abbreviated year ('10) and other details on it.
