Materials and techniques
This sand is mixed with a little water in a large box. Care must be taken to ensure that the sand is not too wet, as this would cause the glass to erupt with bubbles. If the sand is too dry then it becomes almost impossible to make an accurate pressing – so not too wet, not too dry.
