Originally commissioned for Deborah Warner's production of 'King Lear' at the Naitonal THeatre in 1990, has since been used a sboth a furnishign and fashion fabric.

Samples with specific information about each fabric's development in folder from '2010 Textiles and New Technology' exhibition (Crafts Council 1994) which showcased cutting edge textiles design and illustrated how technology was influencing materials and products

Materials and techniques

70% silk, 30% spandex. Woven and printed. This reversible fabric re-interprets traditional Florentine broades, achieving depth and volume through marriage of heat reactive inks to silk rather than through woven structure.
