MAKING OF THE COPPER CONE: i) I cut out this shape from a sheet of copper and soften the edge by hammering with a flat hammerer. For the cones I intend to patinate - I use scrap copper from old water tanks. For the cones I wish to 'heat colour' red I use new copper. This sample has been cut from a scrapped water tank.
