Maker's statement

The curves came at a most intensive working period, during the last month of the year in America. They relate to the cardboard spiral (see p.13 Bodywork catalogue), but were made after the quadrangles. This particular curve was the second one I made and was in fact the last piece I made before returning to England. I later used it as a prototype for forming other neckpieces.
