Clear pink curved perspex neckpiece with blue inner edge.
Materials and techniques
Hand-cut with jig-saw; curve formed by heat and painted with car enamel spray paint. Finished with wet/dry emery paper.

Maker's statement
The blue-painted inside edge mixes with the pink colour of the perspex to form elusive pinks and purples refracting along the polished outside edge. This outer edge is the major feature of the piece and is particularly noticeable when the piece is being worn due to the way it stands out from the back of the neck and the play of light on the surface.
