Description
Black-and-white striped crescent earrings, both with a central black panel, one with a red dot, the other with a black dot.
Materials and techniques
'I use steel as the base in all my pieces, for its strength and beautiful subtleties of colour. I then enamel with deep, rich colours which contrast with the blackness of the oxidised steel. After firing, the enamel is worked with acid or sand-blasted to give a matt finish, which I find more appealing than a high gloss.'
