Maker's statement
I was concerned with making colour as bright as possible. Up to the time of making this bracelet I had always relied on the light shining thorugh the resin to make the resin bright - this bracelet is opaque, the colour is bright for three reasons: opacity, area/shape, interaction of neighbouring colours. It was important not to grade the colours. There were three barcelets and two large circular necklaces in this series. In some of the other pieces I started to contrast the brightness of resin that is opaque with the brightness of resin that is translucent.
