Description
Ring-shaped wooden box, containing a necklace made of tubes of engraved copper with gold and silver lining with an amber bead.
Materials and techniques
Copper sections of piping lined with gold and silver together with an amber bead. Engraved decoration depicting a tale of male and female, sun and moon, round the necklace. Engraving of almost die-sinking depth. Tools used: engravers and burnisher.

The necklace was made as part of learning to engrave. A private exercise to alleviate lettering and crest exercises. Purely a personal doodle within a technique.
