Description
Round metal bowl with very dark oxidisation, revealing numerous laminations of copper, silver, red brass and nickel silver.
Materials and techniques
Sixty-four laminations of copper, silver, gilding metal (red brass) and nickel silver. The whole piece is oxidised. Metals soldered together, twisted and distorted to expose the various layers, forged flat and then raised.
