Description
Pillbox made of numerous laminations of different metals, distorted to expose the various layers, with a gilded interior.
Materials and techniques
Lid made from 120 laminations of copper, silver, gilding metal (red brass) and nickel silver, with a blued steel base and gilded inside. Metal soldered together, twisted and distorted to expose the various layers, forged flat and then raised.
