Description

Silver triangular box with a central domed area.

Materials and techniques

Gilding metal and silver. The main body of the box is made out of gilding metal; the domed area of which was produced using a simple press tool. The rest of the box is constructed round this shape in silver. The box is then hand finished and coloured using ammonia vapour.
