Description
Narrow aluminium panel with a small round clock face, on an aluminium base with a hinge.
Materials and techniques
Designed on Apple Mac using 'Quicksurf Software'. Machined on a 3 Axis Milling Machine using 5 programmes: 1. Front/back; 2. Outline; 3. Recesses for ball bearing; 4. Quartz movement recesses; 5. Hinges - Swiss quartz movement mounted in aluminium movement ring/bezel and back turned on a lathe. Coloured using clarinet inks and dyes by printing and dipping.

This is one of the first clocks made by me using CAD/CAM. It is the first one for me using 'Quicksurf Software'. It is named and inspired by P.J. Harvey's music.
