Description

Porcelain bowl, on a narrow foot, with a white glaze and two bands of decoration line and spot decoration, bordered by blue and rust lines.

Materials and techniques

Reduced porcelain, with white glaze and two bands of brush decoration; blue, red, rust and brown. Thrown. Japanese brush decorated with iron and cobalt pigments and a red glaze applied with a slip trailer. Biscuit fired at 980 deg. C. Glaze fired at 1280 deg. C.
