Description

Saltglazed stoneware teapot in a red/brown colour, with two spouts and a handle over the top of the lid.

Materials and techniques

Saltglazed stoneware with felspar/china slip on upper part of outside. Thrown in sections; handle coiled and pressed. Fired to 1080 deg. C and saltglazed.

Wales - These pieces mark my return to serious saltglazing (after a pause of about five years). And a renewed conviction in my vocation as a potter.
