Thrown reduced stoneware with ash glaze outside and tenmoku glaze inside. Fired to 1280 deg. C.

Wales - This work was made after a period of saltglazing - after moving to a new workshop I decided not to saltglaze and found some inspiration in using runny ash glazes, and was aided by the discovery that the local clay could be used with ash to make my glazes. I have now returned to saltglazes, but have retained the runny glazes with raw-firing.
